About Us

Courtney Sheehy: Owner/Founder
Courtney Sheehy started C- Horse Hydrotherapy LLC out of her passion for horses. From the age of seven, Courtney has been involved in horses in every aspect. She began riding at a local Morgan horse farm, where she then started showing English at Morgan horse shows all over New England. Her love for the sport did not stop there she continued to show in all disciplines with her Morgan mare who is now 33 years old. At the age of 14 Courtney’s parents bought her her first Quarter horse who she competed in barrel racing. This horse introduced her to the rodeo world that would eventually bring her to being crowned Miss American Rodeo 2001. During this time Courtney was also attending college full time and was the captain of her college’s equestrian team.

With all Courtney’s involvement with the horses she wanted to make a career where she would be surrounded by horses all the time. Courtney left the corporate world as medical sales representative to pursue her passion of working with horses. Courtney wanted to offer a cutting edge drug free therapy for the equine athletes and she knew that Therapeutic Advantage’s cold saltwater equine spa was the perfect tool for the rehabilitation center that she would open in her hometown.
